The House of Representatives has called on the Federal Government to allocate the 753-unit housing estate forfeited by former Central Bank Governor Godwin Emefiele to poor Nigerians, with a focus on low- and middle-income earners, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and other vulnerable groups.

Jafaru Gambo Leko, the House stressed that the recovered estate, comprising duplexes and apartments spread over 150,000 square meters, could significantly help address Nigeria’s severe housing deficit, especially in major urban centers like Abuja.
