Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, on Friday sent shockwaves across the nation’s political landscape as he formally defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the ruling All Progressives Congress, taking along his entire cabinet and all PDP officials in the state.
Fintiri, who made the announcement in a statewide broadcast, declared that his decision to cross carpet was driven by the need to advance the developmental interests of the people of Adamawa State.
